Froebel blocks
description
Wooden stacking blocks based on the idea of the german, Frederich Froebel, who pioneered the concept of the kindergarten in the late nineteenth century. The example illustrated here is just one of many inspired by his designs although not actually based on them. This just happens to be in my collection.
